I have been using Kevin Murphy for over 5 years now so have really developed a love for their brand and products. I feel like I really no my head around each product, what it does, house to use it, what hair type it works best on etc. I think this knowledge comes after using a product for so long, and it just becomes second nature. My hair kit is bursting with products at the moment from so many brands I love. I've collated my top 7 Kevin Murphy products that I either get asked about the most and that are my firm favorites. Id hate to know how many bottles I have gone through of each! Read on to find out more!

1. SESSION SPRAY

My favorite strong hold hairspray in my kit. This hairspray provides strong but weightless hold with the ability to still brush out any hairstyle after. It isn't flaky it doesn't look wet if applied too much.  What I really love about it, is that it contains a natural fragrance and a UV shield for coloured hair. This is my go to hairspray for all hairstyles.

2. BODY BUILDER
Is a volumising mousse. The name says it all really. Its a product that you can layer onto the hair to create smooth big shapes. Don’t be afraid to use quite a lot of BODY.BUILDER as it is weightless and moisturising so you can go for it without any fear of a crunch. Directions say to apply this to damp hair and dry in for best results but I have been known to apply this to dry hair and dry in too giving me the same effect. It helps hold any hairstyle your afraid might fall out over a long day ie. curls.

3. SHIMMER SHINE
This shine product is like no other I have ever used. First of all the bottle/ the colour and the gold texture is just beautiful.  It not only gives shine to the hair but it contains Vitamins and minerals that repair ans strengthen the hair too. It leaves no oily residue and even on the finest hair it does not weigh it down. This image is the product shaken up, you have to shake it up (twirl it) before use which makes it golden. Hold it away from  the hair and spritz, a little goes a long way with this product so start with less. You will easily spot this in my kit and you will smell it before you see it!

4. BEDROOM HAIR
This is a spray I have only recently discovered but it became a firm fave from day one. I have got my whole family and friends onto this product. This is a lightweight finishing hairspray, it will add bounce and all over body. I love using this product to create texture, its perfect for that 'undone' hair up which is very on trend for bridal. I like to spray this onto curled hair too and just use my fingertips to get in there and work the hair and product until you create your desired texture. I use this on myself ALWAYS when I have soft waves. It gives me the perfect amount of hold. It contains Sunflower Seed Extract  which  helps Provide protection and nutrients essential to hair health and strength. It also has Ginger Root Extract in it to help strengthen the hair while conditioning and protecting it all at the same time.

5. POWDER PUFF
This tiny little product is my best friend and it will be yours too. It will create so much texture and body to any hair type that you wont no what to do with it all. I couldn't tell you how many of these powder puffs I have gone through I literally use this on every hairstyle I create. Whether its adding some texture to short hair, or wanting to add body to fine hair, holding back combing or wanting to make the hair a bit more gritty. Everyone is stumped by this product at first because it looks like baby powder and when applied close to your scalp it can feel wet, everyone always questions what Im putting in the hair but trust me its a miracle product every gal needs.

6. HAIR RESORT SPRAY
This product I have had in my kit for years and always re purchase. Its so easy to use. Spray it onto dry hair to get a really awesome 'at the beach' messy hair look. Spray it in and either put some curls in or scrunch it in your hands. Another thing I love about this is that its a non aerosol.

7. DOO.OVER
This product is like a two in one deal. It is a finishing hairspray but it also acts as a dry shampoo too. DOO.OVER contains Tapioca Starch  which gives the hair a soft velvety feel and also provides the powder technology, giving the   hair volume that lasts.  Tapioca Starch is hydrophilic and removes excess oil from the hair and scalp. This product gives the hair a more matte look and powdery feel, It can be used on all hair types too. If you are after a product that can tick two boxes in one give this a go!
