A NEW YEAR

Another year passed and another year full of memories to add to my career. I always say this, but I count myself so lucky to do what I do and work with such lovely down to earth people each day.  Ive added some beautiful weddings to my portfolio this year, met some amazing new clients and like minded artists along the way too.
In 2017 we welcomed our second child which meant some time off. I always worry about this and did when  I had my first child too. Will people forget who I am? will I loose my clientele? were questions I asked myself often. I put more time into my social media platforms which have grown hugely in the last 6 months. I launched this blog soon after my daughter was born to keep connecting with you all and sharing my beauty knowledge. My social media has played a huge part in growing my business this year and one of my goals in 2018 is to continue this. 2017 was busy getting used to being a working mum of two, Ive managed to get back into work this summer and I'm so grateful for the family support I have allowing me to do this, and for my career being so flexible. I must thank my clients this year for being so understanding with this and working in with my mum life schedule.

Some career highlights of 2017 were heading to Rarotonga in March to do the wedding of Steph & Nick. Steph & nick looked after me so well while I was there, it was the most beautiful island wedding and I can't wait for the next wedding I get to do there.

I flew to Wellington in February  for Gabrielles wedding in the beautiful township of Waikanae. First wedding in the wellington region, can't wait to get back there.

Other than these destinations I travelled to the Coromandel, Waiheke and north of Auckland a lot for your special days. I also had my first elopement this December where the couple got married at sunrise in an intimate ceremony on the beach front.

My job is challenging yet rewarding and I love hearing about your day when we meet at your trial and spending the morning with you on your wedding. Its a happy and exciting time and I always feel so honoured to be there in those moments with you.

To all my clients. Past, Present and those just booking their weddings in now. THANKYOU for your constant support, patience and kindness in 2017. I cannot wait to see what 2018 brings me. I know their will be many more beautiful weddings and memories.
